Eagle Aerie Gallery Tofino is Roy Henry Vickers’ artist-owned gallery located in Tofino. A stunning traditional Northwest Coast longhouse with a carved and painted cedar plank exterior and doors of beaten copper is a recognizable Tofino landmark.
Inside you will find Roy’s artwork of paintings, original prints, calendars, art cards, and reproductions hanging on hand adzed cedar walls among totem poles and carvings. At the large main hall, the soft lighting and restful music creates an atmosphere of harmony and peace.
Built in 1986 with the help of Roy’s family and legendary carver Henry Nolla, the gallery welcomes more than 500,000 visitors a year from all around the world.
Located at 350 Campbell Street, the place is open free to the public seven days a week throughout the year, from 10am to 5pm.

Mark Hobson Gallery
Mark Hobson Gallery houses original paintings and limited edition reproductions, as well as gift shop items such as calendars, art cards and matted & framed reproductions.
A selection of Mark’s work can also be viewed in the entrance and rooms of the Wickaninnish Inn, in the entrance and the Great Room at the Long Beach Lodge and at Jamie’s Rainforest Inn. The originals at these venues are owned, however in some cases the giclée reproductions can be ordered on this site.

Robert Bateman Centre
On Victoria’s Inner Harbour, you will find the gallery of art and nature dedicated to the legendary Canadian artist and naturalist Robert Bateman, one of Canada’s best-known artists. For seven decades, he brought the magic of nature to his realistic paintings, featuring wildlife in its habitat.
At the Robert Bateman Gallery Shop are available a unique selection of Robert Bateman’s books, prints and gifts, as well as handmade glassworks, jewelry, pottery, woodwork and textiles by other local artists.
Robert Bateman Centre is Open daily, from 10am to 5pm, the Robert Bateman Centre is located in the historic Steamship Terminal on Victoria’s Inner Harbour, steps away from the Legislative Assembly of BC and the Royal BC Museum.

The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria
With almost 20,000 works of art, The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria has the largest public collection in BC, presenting a diverse assortment of exhibitions, including showcases of own Canadian artists, historical and world-class Asian collection, as well as creating, commissioning and hosting important contemporary exhibitions.
On permanent display is the work of British Columbia’s foremost historical artist Emily Carr. An exhibition including paintings, excerpts from her books and archival images offers an insightful look at this inspiring local artist who captured the BC landscape and the lives of its First Nations peoples in paint.
Located only 2km of distance from The Robert Bateman Gallery, The Art Gallery is open from Monday to Saturday, from 10am to 4pm and Sunday and most holidays from 12pm to 5pm.

Emily Carr House
Emily Carr, born in Victoria, 1871, is one of Canada’s most renowned artists, significant as a landscape painter and a modernist. The most important BC artist of her generation, she is best-known for her attention to the totemic carvings of the First Nations peoples of British Columbia and the rain forests of Vancouver Island.
Emily Carr House and Garden, a National and Provincial Historic Site, an interpretive centre dedicated to the life, art and writings of this Canadian icon.
Discover more about this renowned artist: walking through the rooms of her childhood home you will gain a sense of the context of the times in which she lived but also come to appreciate how she was so remarkably ahead of her times.
Emily Carr House is located at 207 Government Street in Victoria, B.C. Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm (May to September).
